you offering up a sandwich

or a coffee.

Offered up cake before

and offered a ride

and shelter from the rain

and peace of mind

and a smiling face

and a warm hug-

to warm a building

freezing from abandonment

and all darkness-

you banished it

and now there is light and brilliance

and dancing and prancing

and glee and silliness .
