Music News: The Charts- TLC Back on Track (7/12/13)

The top 5 on the Hot 100 look rather familar (They are almost identical to last week):

A few weeks back,  I started keeping track of TLC's CrazySexyCool as it re-entered the Billboard 200.  Well, I got a little salty because it fell off.  Don't worry though, TLC are back on the charts in a big way!  J. Cole's single, Crooked Smile is climbing the charts (#58- Hot 100).  Over on the R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart (that's what they call it), it has moved from 21-19.  This marks TLC's 1st appearance in the top 20 of this chart since 1999's Unpretty (#4).  Also, over on the R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart (what I like to call the NEW R&B/Hip-Hop Songs) the song is making its way towards the top 20, moving to #29 this week.  Just a little update...

J. Cole's Crooked Smile isn't #1 right now, but his Power Trip is though.  Here's the top 5 of the R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay:

R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay
  1. J. Cole featuring Miguel- Power Trip
  2. Ciara- Body Party
  3. Lil Wayne featuring 2 Chainz- Rich as F**k
  4. Wale featuring Tiara Thomas- Bad
  5. DJ Khaled featuring Drake, Rick Ross, Lil Wayne- No New Friends
Gangman Style returns to the top of Youtube viewing:

Youtube 100
  1. Psy- Gangman Style
  2. Miley Cyrus- We Can't Stop
  3. Psy- Gentleman
  4. Pink featuring Nate Ruess- Just Give Me A Reason
  5. Robin Thicke featuring T.I., Pharrell- Blurred Lines
